H2O - that is my element. Floating in the water and escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life - what more could one possibly wish for? Thus, the Breathtaker series means a great deal to me. This is why new pictures, which can be added to the series, are being created every now and then.
H2 O - das ist mein Element. Im Wasser zu schweben und der Hektik des Alltages zu entrinnen - was will man mehr. Die Breathtakerserie liegt mir deswegen sehr am Herzen. So entstehen immer wieder neue Bilder.
Some of the templates were created “on the spot” - may it be at the swimming pool of my hometown or at holiday resorts. All of the pictures are painted on canvas with acrylic. The first series is 100 x 80 cm, the round exhibits have a diameter of 50 cm.
Einige Vorlagen sind hier vor Ort im Schwimmbad oder an Urlaubsorten entstanden. Die Bilder sind alle auf Leinwand mit Acryl gemalt. Die erste Serie ist 100 x 80 cm groß, die runden Exponate haben einen Durchmesser von 50 cm.
The divers can be considered atestament of my artistic development: Over the years, my paintings have become bigger, thus giving room to both my motif and my creative will. Moreover, I can perfect my play of representational and abstract painting on canvas on large surfaces, thus creating my own worlds and making my pictures unique.
Die Turmspringerinnen sind Zeugnis meiner künstlerischen Entwicklung: Meine Bilder sind größer geworden. Ich gebe meinem Motiv und meinem Gestaltungswillen Raum, kann auf großen Flächen mein Spiel von gegenständlichem und abstraktem Malen auf Leinwand perfektionieren, meine eigenen Welten erschaffen und meine Bilder unverwechselbar machen.
